Make Cheat's sauerkraut: Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cabbage. Cook, stirring, for 10 minutes or until cabbage wilts. Add ale, seeds, vinegar and sugar. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until liquid has evaporated and cabbage is tender.

Meanwhile, heat a medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Lightly spray continental frankfurts with oil. Cook, turning often, for 4 to 5 minutes or until they are warmed through.

Using a serrated knife, cut rolls along top (not all the way through). Spread with relish and mustard. Top with sauerkraut and continental frankfurts. Serve.
Prepare in advance: Make Cheat's sauerkraut. Cool completely. Spoon into an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
