- Step 1
Double boil the chocolate. Set aside to cool completely.

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar till smooth. Depending on how dark the chocolate is you may want to add more or less sugar. Once the sugar is dissolved, add in the butter cube by cube, beating well after each addition. Add in the vanilla.

Add in the cooled chocolate and give it a very quick beat just until its combined with the egg and butter mixture.

In a separate bowl, whip the cream till soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream gently into the chocolate mix. Don't mix too hard or for too long.

Soak the Marie biscuits in milk, in batches, and layer each batch with a layer of chocolate cream on top. Do not over soak the biscuits such that they lose their shape. You don't want them to be crunchy either! Keep layering till your dish is full. Finish with layer of chocolate cream. Garnish with chopped cashews and grated chocolate.
