    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease a baking tray. Combine the flour and salt in a bowl. Rub in butter until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the parmesan, pine nuts and rosemary.

    2. Step 2

      Make a well in the mixture. Mix in buttermilk. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Shape the dough into a 2cm-thick square. Cut into 12 squares.

    3. Step 3

      Place scones side by side on the tray. Brush with buttermilk. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until golden and scones sound hollow when tapped on top.

    Top Tip: Run out of bamboo skewers? Use rosemary sprigs instead. Remove leaves except for the top 2cm, soak as usual then thread on kebab ingredients.
