Preheat a sandwich press. Brush the doughnuts with 1 tbs of the maple syrup. Place half the doughnuts in the sandwich press. Cook, turning occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until heated through and caramelised. Keep warm. Repeat with the remaining doughnuts.
- Step 2
Divide the warm caramelised doughnuts among serving plates. Top with a scoop of ice-cream and sprinkle with walnut. Drizzle with the remaining maple syrup.
