Combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, butter and milk in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Spoon into four 1 1/4 cup-capacity ovenproof dishes.

Make sauce: Combine cornflour, cocoa powder, brown sugar and boiling water in a heatproof jug. Stir until smooth. Divide sauce evenly over batter in each dish.

Place dishes on an upturned microwave-safe plate in microwave. Microwave on medium (50%) for 7 to 8 minutes or until tops are firm to touch. Stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Top with ice-cream. Serve.
