- Step 1
Preheat oven to 170C and grease a 23cm oven-proof dish.

Add chunks of bread and chocolate chips to the dish.

In a separate jug, combine milk, cream, sugar and eggs. Whisk well.

Pour mixture over bread and squash down bread. Let sit for 20 minutes and then sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in oven for 40 minutes until golden.
