- Step 1
Line a tray with baking paper. Finely crumble the cake into a large bowl. Stir in the chocolate, liqueur and salt until well combined.

Use your hands to roll rounded teaspoonfuls of cake mixture into balls. Place on the lined tray. Place in the fridge for 1 hour to chill.
- Step 3
Place the cocoa powder on a plate. Roll the chocolate balls in cocoa powder to coat.
Our recipe makes enough truffles for two boxes of 20. Line each gift box with printed fabric or a napkin, then nestle the treats on a paper doily.
