Combine honey and vanilla essence in a small saucepan and heat over a low to medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the cream and simmer for 2- 3 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and well combined. Remove from heat. Peel and slice bananas and place in a large bowl. Pour honey cream over the bananas and gently stir to combine. Divide bananas and honey cream among serving plates and serve with the shortbreads sprinkled with the icing sugar supplied in the carton.
Tip: Serve leftover Viennese Crescents with coffee.
